I work for the bearing manufacturer British Timken, in April the parent corporation announced it's intention to close the UK facility in Duston, Northampton
I have held the position of manufacturing electrical engineer for 6 years, where the responsibilities are to design new equipment or oversee a subcontractor supplying new equipment and to modify current to improve manufacturing performance. I am familiar will all of the major manufacturers PLC's/HMI's and can program them as necessary, I can set-up and program Devicenet, AC drives, Stepper and servo systems.
